• Email address – used to identify your account and sync custom subjects across your devices.
• Email thread IDs – used to associate custom subjects with specific emails.
• Email subjects – the original and custom subjects, stored to display them when you view or reply/forward emails.

No email body content, attachments, or other personal information is ever read, collected, or transmitted.

2. How We Use Data

• To display your original and custom subjects inside Gmail™.
• To sync your original and custom subjects across devices via our secure backend API.
• To improve performance through local caching (browser storage).

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for collecting and using your data is your consent.

4. Data Storage & Security

• Locally: Custom subjects are cached in your browser using Chrome's storage.local API. This data stays on your device and can be cleared at any time via browser settings.
• On our servers: Data is stored on encrypted servers located in the United States. We retain your data for as long as you actively use the Extension. If you uninstall the Extension, your data will be automatically deleted after 180 days unless you request earlier removal.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. Your data is used solely to provide the Extension's functionality.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time
